Collection: Skunk Medicine Collection
⚠️ TW: This collection listing addresses lived experience with domestic violence and trauma.
This special Skunk Medicine Collection was guided by a dream and created to honour Domestic Violence Awareness Month this November. Each piece represents an ongoing journey of healing and reclaiming my spirit. This collection is born from my lived experience with domestic violence. While the trauma doesn't vanish the day I left, I honour the ongoing journey from Survivor to Thriver with gentle kindness every single day. The skunk is a revered teacher in Anishinaabe culture. It is not aggressive, but a potent embodiment of sacred boundaries, protection, and personal power. It teaches us to stand firm, claim our space, and honour our own voice and strength with confidence.
Availability Update
This is a limited collection that was first released at the Crafted show at the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG). The pieces available now are all that remain of this special release. I poured my heart into creating these unique items, and I am honoured to share this medicine with you.
Supporting Healing Journeys
I believe in supporting those who are walking their path to safety and healing. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the proceeds from the Skunk Medicine Collection will be donated to Ikwe Widdjiitiwin, an organization supporting Indigenous women and survivors of domestic violence in their own healing journeys. When you purchase a piece from this collection, you are not only gaining a piece of powerful medicine but also directly contributing to vital support for others.
