Cherry Ribbon Skirt by No Roots No Wings

This patterned cotton fabric features red and pink cherries and white polka dots against a black background. Finished with 5 1.5 inch bright red ribbons running horizontally across the middle of the skirt spaced 1.5 inches apart, with 2 rows of glittery red ric rac running along the top and bottom of the first and last ribbons. They are affixed with a straight stitch, with 16 in / 40.64 cm bows on both sides. 

Sized M-XL and measures at a length of 35 in / 88.9 cm, inner seams finished using zigzag stitches. This skirt features pockets. Handwash in cold water and let air dry.

No Roots No Wings was founded in July 2023 by Natasha Desarmenien-Mann, an accomplished Ojibwe-Saulteaux artist from Sagkeeng Anicinabe First Nation. She specializes in handcrafting ribbon skirts and an array of other artistic creations. Every garment tells stories of cultural pride and the beauty of indigenous traditions.
