Every Child Matters Ribbon Skirt by No Roots No Wings

Honour the Every Child Matters / Orange Shirt Day movement by wearing orange.

This colourful patterned cotton fabric features a pattern of butterflies in flight, as well as children against an orange background, finished with 5 1.5 inch orange ribbons running horizontally across the bottom of the skirt spaced apart, along with dark orange ric rac across the top and bottom rows of ribbon. Adorned with ribbons trailing down each side (9.5 inches / 24 cm).

Sized S-M at a length of 31.5 in / 80 cm, inner seams finished using zigzag stitches. This skirt features pockets. Handwash in cold water and let air dry.

No Roots No Wings was founded in July 2023 by Natasha Desarmenien-Mann, an accomplished Ojibwe-Saulteaux artist from Sagkeeng Anicinabe First Nation. She specializes in handcrafting ribbon skirts and an array of other artistic creations. Every garment tells stories of cultural pride and the beauty of indigenous traditions.
