Floral Turtle Beaded Earrings by Chel & Bead Creations

These sweet flat-stitched green turtles each have flowers nestled on top of their shells. The edge of these earrings use metallic gold coloured beads, and backed with soft dark brown leather. The gold plated earring hooks are secured at the top with thread guards. They are approximately 2 inches (5.08 cm) wide and tall.

Chelsey Finney is an Ojibwe (Status) artist from Lac Seul First Nation in Northwestern Ontario who lives, works, and creates on Treaty 1 Territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 2023, she started Chel & Bead Creations as a creative outlet and a meaningful way to deepen her connection to her cultural roots through beadwork. Inspired by nature, Chelsey handcrafts beaded earrings, hair clips, bag charms, bolo ties, and beadwork-adorned belt bags and jewelry boxes.
